Cutlets stuffed with “veshalitsa” famous “chevapchichi”, stewed meat with vegetables “dzhuvech” and the famous cured ham “prshutt”, which are made exclusively in clean mountain areas and in the sun.

In Serbia are popular the special taste of different sheep and goat cheeses, “kachkavali”, “kachamak”, “Zlatibor”.

Among spirits is popular rakia production which has become a national ritual. Serbs use the term “to oven the rakia.” The most delicious is apricot rakia, but is also made from plums, grapes, quince and other fruits. In Serbia, there is such saying: in the realm of spirits, there are two kings – the French cognac and Scotch whiskey, but only one queen – Serbian rakia plum.
